Portfolio
Screenshots tell youwhat a site looks like.
They tell you nothing about how fast it loads on a phone, whether it can be used with a keyboard, how it is structured for search, or who owns it when the relationship ends. This page is the standard every Negivu Digital build ships to — the things you would actually be buying.
What a portfolio should tell you
Judge a build by what you cannot see in a screenshot
A gallery of attractive homepages is the easiest thing in this industry to assemble and the least informative thing to look at. These are the questions worth asking any agency instead.
-
Does it hold up on a mid-range phone
Most service businesses get the majority of their enquiries from mobile, frequently on a middling connection in a car park. A build that is only fast on a desktop with fibre is not fast.
-
Can everyone use it
Keyboard navigation, colour contrast, focus states, form labels and alternative text are not extras. They decide whether a portion of your market can complete an enquiry at all, and they are also the legal baseline in the United States.
-
Who holds the keys
Domain, hosting, CMS, analytics and automation accounts should be registered to the business that paid for them. If leaving an agency means losing your website, you did not buy a website.
Performance budget
Speed is a budget we agree, not a hope we express
Every build gets a written performance budget before the first template is cut. Pages are measured against it on real hardware and real connections, and a page that misses it does not ship.
- Core Web Vitals targeted in the good band — LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200ms, CLS under 0.1
- A page weight ceiling agreed per template, enforced before launch rather than audited afterwards
- Images served in modern formats, correctly sized, and lazy-loaded below the fold
- Third-party scripts justified individually — every tag has an owner and a reason
- Fonts subset and self-hosted where licensing permits, to remove a render-blocking round trip
- Measured on throttled mobile, because that is where your enquiries actually come from
Structure and safety
The parts that decide whether the site earns anything
A fast, attractive page that search engines cannot parse and that leaks data is a liability with good typography.
-
Semantic and accessible markup
One h1 per page, a real heading hierarchy, landmark regions, labelled form controls, visible focus, and contrast checked against WCAG 2.1 AA. Tested with a keyboard and a screen reader, not just an automated scan.
-
SEO structure built in, not bolted on
Crawlable URLs, internal linking that reflects how the business is actually organised, canonical handling, XML sitemap, correct indexation rules, and structured data where it is truthful and applicable.
-
Tracking that can be trusted
Analytics and conversion tracking configured and verified at launch, with events that map to real business actions. Instrumented once, properly, so the reporting means something from day one.
-
Security as standard
HTTPS throughout, hardened CMS configuration, least-privilege user accounts, dependency and plugin discipline, automated backups with a tested restore, and a documented update routine.
Launch and handover
What you receive when the build is finished
-
Before launch
A pre-flight you can read
Performance results against the agreed budget, accessibility findings, redirect map, indexation checks, forms and tracking verified end to end. You see the evidence, not a thumbs up.
-
At launch
The keys, in your name
Domain, hosting, CMS, analytics and automation accounts all registered to your business, with credentials transferred and our access documented and revocable at any time.
-
After launch
Documentation written for humans
How the site is structured, how to edit each content type, what each automation does and what breaks if it is switched off. Written so that another developer could take over without calling us.
-
Ongoing
Optional, never structural
Maintenance, monitoring and optimisation are available if you want them. Nothing is built so that the site stops working when you stop paying us.
Project showcases in progress. Negivu Digital is a new agency and project showcases are currently being prepared for publication with client approval. Rather than fill this page with placeholder galleries, we have published the standard every build is held to. If you would like to see live work or speak with a client directly, ask on your strategy call.
Next step
Hold your current site to this standard.
Book a strategy call. We will run your existing site against the same performance, accessibility, structure and security checks and tell you plainly where it stands.
