Leadership & our team
A small team, and one line of accountability.
You talk to the people making the decisions about your system. No account layer relaying questions to a build team you never meet, and no rotating contacts learning your business from scratch every quarter.
Leadership
Who is accountable for the work
Two roles, clearly divided. One sets what the company builds and the standard it is held to. One is responsible for how engagements are run and honoured.
James A Buggie III
Founder & CEO
Sets the direction of the company and the standard the work is held to — what Negivu Digital builds, what it declines to build, and where the technical approach goes next. The role owns the engineering philosophy behind every engagement: growth treated as connected infrastructure rather than separate deliverables, client ownership of every account and asset, and AI applied only where it genuinely improves a decision. It also carries the company’s platform direction, including the AI executive model described below. Final accountability for the quality of what leaves the building sits here.
Jim A Buggie Jr.
President
Responsible for how the company runs and how engagements are honoured. The role owns commercial standards — that scope is written down before work starts, that quoted work is delivered at the quoted price, and that no client is held to an open-ended retainer they cannot leave. It also covers client relationships across the life of an engagement: that reporting stays honest, that problems are raised early rather than managed quietly, and that a handover leaves the client genuinely able to run the system without us.
Where the company is heading
Once the infrastructure is connected, the data is finally worth reasoning over
Most businesses cannot get useful intelligence out of their numbers because the numbers live in four systems that disagree. Fix that first and a second opportunity opens: a layer that reads the whole operating picture continuously and tells the owner what deserves attention today.
- The connected system comes first — site, automation, CRM and reporting sharing one record
- Clean, current operating data is the prerequisite for any AI worth acting on
- Intelligence is only useful if it points at a decision a person is about to make
- Authority stays with the owner; the layer advises, it does not quietly act
Platform direction
Your AI Executive Team
This is the direction our sister platform at negivu.com is building toward: a set of AI executive roles that read your operating data continuously and brief you the way a senior team would. Described here as company vision and capability direction, not as a shipped product.
Coordination and strategy
Holds the whole picture. Pulls the signals from every other role into one view, weighs them against the objectives you set, and surfaces what actually deserves your attention this week rather than everything that changed.
Operations and execution
Watches how work moves through the business — what is stalled, what is slipping, where a process is quietly failing. Designed to flag the operational problem while it is still cheap, not after it becomes a bad month.
Financial metrics and forecasting
Tracks the numbers that describe the health of the business over time — margin, cash position, revenue trend — and models where they are heading if nothing changes. Intended to make the financial consequence of a decision visible before it is made.
Systems, reliability and risk
Monitors the technology the business runs on: uptime, performance, security posture, integration failures and technical risk that has been accumulating unnoticed. Built to surface the thing that will break before it breaks.
Growth and customer acquisition
Reads the acquisition picture end to end — channel performance, cost per acquired customer, conversion and retention — and identifies where growth is genuinely being constrained rather than where a dashboard happens to be red.
Expandable by role
The executive set is the starting structure, not the limit. The model is designed so additional specialist roles can be added for the functions a particular business depends on most.
Platform direction. The AI Executive Team described above is the direction Negivu’s sister platform at negivu.com is being built toward. It is presented here as company vision and capability direction. It is not a product being sold today, we make no claim about availability, and no user numbers, outcomes or results are implied. What is already available is the connected infrastructure work described across the rest of this site, which is the foundation any of this would run on.
Human authority
Decision authority stays with you, by design
An intelligence layer that quietly takes actions on a business owner’s behalf is a liability, not an advantage. The model is built the other way round.
-
Advisory by default
The role of each executive agent is to observe, interpret and recommend. Anything that changes the state of the business is proposed for a decision rather than performed on its own initiative.
-
Authority is user-defined
Where automation is permitted, the boundary is set explicitly by the owner — which actions, within which limits, under what conditions. Nothing expands its own scope, and the boundary can be tightened or removed at any time.
-
Reasoning is visible
A recommendation is only useful if you can see what it was based on. The intent is that every conclusion traces back to the underlying data, so a person can disagree with it on the evidence.
-
Built for growth, not headcount replacement
The purpose is to give an owner the standard of oversight a full executive team provides, at the stage where hiring one is not realistic. The judgement, the relationships and the final call stay human.
Working with us
How the team works with clients
The same people from the first call to the handover. Here is what that looks like in practice.
-
Direct access, not an account layer
The person who assessed your system is involved in building it. Questions go to someone who can answer them properly rather than to someone who has to ask and come back.
-
Trade-offs explained in plain language
Where there is a real choice — cost against speed, integration against replacement, automation against a human step — we explain both sides and you make the call. It is your business and your budget.
-
Everything in writing
Scope, sequence, cost, intended effect, and what changed after each stage. Written records mean decisions survive staff changes on your side and ours.
-
Problems raised early
If something is not working, or a stage did not produce what it was meant to, you hear it from us first with what we propose to do about it. That standard is set out in full on the page covering what Negivu stands for.
Next step
Talk to the people who will build it.
Book a strategy call. You get a straight assessment of where your system is leaking and a clear view of what we would build — from the people who would build it.
