References & Feedback
A quote you cannot checkis just decoration.
Anyone can put a five-star rating and a first name on a web page. We would rather put you on the phone with a client. This page explains how references work here, how feedback is collected during an engagement, and what we do with it.
Why there are no quotes here
Three reasons this page reads differently
Testimonial walls are the cheapest trust signal in marketing, which is exactly why they no longer signal much. We have taken a different position.
-
Unverifiable praise is worth nothing
A glowing sentence attributed to “Sarah M., Business Owner” cannot be checked, cannot be followed up, and could have been written by anyone. If a quote cannot be traced to a named person who agreed to say it, it does not belong on a website.
-
A conversation beats a paragraph
What you actually want to know is whether we hit deadlines, whether we explained things clearly, and what went wrong. Nobody puts that in a testimonial. A client will tell you on a ten minute call.
-
Feedback is for fixing things
We collect feedback during an engagement to catch problems while they can still be corrected, not to harvest sentences for a marketing page. Publishing is a separate decision the client makes afterwards, on their own terms.
How references work
Ask, and we will introduce you to a client
References are offered directly rather than published as edited excerpts. You get an unfiltered conversation with someone who has been through the process, and we are not on the call.
- Ask on your strategy call and we will arrange an introduction where a client has agreed to take them
- We match you to an engagement resembling yours in size and type, not to whoever is most enthusiastic
- You speak to them directly and privately — we do not sit in and we do not brief them
- Nothing is scripted; ask about deadlines, budget, communication and anything that went wrong
- If nobody comparable has agreed to be a reference yet, we will say so plainly rather than improvise
Feedback checkpoints
When we ask, and what we do with the answer
-
After the plan
Did we understand the problem
Before any build starts, we confirm the written plan reflects what you actually said. Misunderstandings are cheap to fix at this stage and expensive to fix later.
-
Mid-build
Is the process working for you
A short structured check on communication, pace and clarity while there is still time to change how we are working. This is about our conduct, not the deliverable.
-
At handover
Did we deliver what we agreed
The plan is read back against what was built, line by line. Anything that changed along the way is accounted for, and anything outstanding is written down with a date.
-
After the measurement window
Did it do what it was meant to
Once there is enough data to judge, we review the outcome against the numbers agreed at kickoff — including when the answer is that it underperformed.
References available on request. Negivu Digital is a new agency. Written testimonials will be published here only once clients have reviewed and approved their own words, with their real name and business attached. In the meantime, references are available directly — ask on your strategy call and we will arrange an introduction.
Next step
Ask us for a reference on the call.
Book a strategy call, ask hard questions, and ask to speak to a client. We would rather earn the benefit of the doubt than claim it.
